Total eclipse of the Sun

This morning we had a partial 85% - 95% eclipse of the Sun. Up in the far northern isles of Scotland they witnessed 100%. If you've never seen an eclipse from England before, it's a phenomena where by a blanket of cloud obscures the Sun and it gets really dark really quickly.

I went indoors and watched it live on TV.

9:30am this morning. Dark (ish). Would have made a good buggy video if the skies had been clear, but not to worry. The next one will occur in 2090.

Yeah I saw that. Brian Cox and Dara O'Briain were hosting at Jodrell Bank and they had pretty clear skies, everyone but the SE it seems. :(

So, what you're saying is that it's a daily event?
