PL XR+ buggy axle, downtube
Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone might have a spare PL XR+ or any PL axle that will fit 20mm bearings? and bolts? Also looking for the downtube and related
hardware.
I have a set of XR+ side rails I could swap for stuff. :D
Prefer to pick up @ IBX if possible.
Hit me up if you've got something lying around.
Thanks!

Check with Van, he is closing up shop building buggies, but he still may have some PL parts he might need to sell off... Just a thought
I'm going to take a nap now

I don't think Van would have any Peter Lynn stuff. If you need something brought in, I'll be making an order in a week or so.

We have downtubes and rear axles in stock. The only thing we are backordered on is the Big Foot axle. They're on order but PL is backordered as
well.
Hit me up if you need anything.

Two or three weeks ago I tried to place a buggy order with PL and was told that it would be at least two months before any product would be available.
There is apparently a move from Asian to European manufacturing afoot.
I wonder if we'll see any design changes as well?
I have down tubes and std. axles on hand as well. Still in Edmonton this month but back in the Niagara Peninsula in May.

If PL is moving production; it should be suggested to them to consider using an increase in wall thickness for their tubing(if only slightly) and also
to reconsider their chosen method of welding(no filler in some places). Maybe even a reconsideration of their choice of stainless alloy(304?).
Fresh off the lakebed to be welded up tomorrow:
TIG'd it back. The crack went half way around:

Sorry .. I only check the forum about once a month lately.
Soliver is correct, I have inventory still. I have about 5 sets of XR+ parts ( axle, downtube , and front fork). I bought them so I can combine them
with my rail kits. They were originally for folks that want to put together an XR+ / VTT rail combo that didn't already have a buggy.
Smeagol .. sorry.. I don't remember seeing your call .. might have missed it.
Since the parts are already at my place, I can reinforce them if anyone wants them stronger also.
