If I recall correctly you really don't want anything less than the MBS comp. The core is made more for children. If you get something like that it's just not going to last and the money will be wasted. I'd definitely recommdn either looking for something used or just saving up.

Water: 2013 Edge 7m, Cronix 12m, 2013 Flite 17m

Asked on a German forum. Everybody recommended channel trucks for 190lbs rider.
Typical models to start on Scrub Predator II, Kheo Bazik, or Next Blaze.
So I am going for one of those. But they are twice the price of the cheapest skate truck boards.

Kites: HQ Symphony Beach III 1.3, HQ Symphony Pro 2.2, 200x70cm no-name, Peter Lynn Hornet III 3.0m2, Peter Lynn Uniq Quad 1.5m2, PL Uniq Play 1.0.
Non-power: Std + Full vented Freilein Windrider X (Rev style quads), Freilen Transeye. ITW Triton, some chinese SLK

They may be twice the price but they'll never bend and are less prone to speed wobble. This is an expensive sport to begin but if you buy quality gear it will last you a long time. I can still ride the same board I bought back in 2005.

When choosing the board.....should I look for stiff deck....or medium flex. ....there will be differences in quality of straps...and tracks....for for heavier rider....assuming I should get stiffer board/deck??!!
Right/wrong?!
Thanks:o
