R.I.P. Gordie " WindHog " Wensley

The one and only. Completely original Wind Hog has passed away.

Gordie hasn't been well for a while now so many of the new members won't know him. He was one fun guy in or out of his hog suit. One of the 1st " old masters " that I met in the sport. I think there is still an award for anybody who can find his finger on Ivanpah lake! :D

We have to burn a flag for him at SOBB this year! We haven't burned one since he stopped coming.

I got to know Gordie out in the dessert at nabx. I will never forget him wearing his pig suite out on the playa.

So sad to hear the news. Gordie was a good friend that I met 20 yrs ago in Long Beach, WA. It's always been a pleasure to know him and I'll miss him terribly. Here's a picture of Gordy in all of his glory:

I was just thinking about Gordie 5 minutes ago and the sweet Rev he gave me at buggy camp.

He was a great guy.
One of the best.
I'll miss him very much

I wonder if anybody has an old Rev' they would let us burn ? I can't think of Gordie without thinking Rev'.
