Ride to Conquer Cancer

Well, (sorry to spam the forum but this is important to me...)

My riding buds might have been asking why is Ron always riding a bike instead of buggying...

The answer is that I have committed to participate in the 2015 "Ride to Conquer Cancer" B.C. edition. I will be riding my bike from Vancouver to Seattle, 200+ kms over 2 days, this summer to help raise money for cancer research.

Cancer has affected most people. It could be family, friends or a co-worker but I'm sure everyone knows someone who has had cancer...

While my immediate family is healthy, my wife's mum is battling cancer right now.

I am asking you all, my kiting family, to donate what you can to cancer research.

To donate please visit conquercancer.ca/goto/ronhardie

If you don't like links, copy and paste - conquercancer.ca/goto/ronhardie

My Canadian friends will get a tax receipt for donations over $10.. I'm not sure if anyone else would qualify.

Thanks in advance,
Ron Hardie

Thanks for the reminder. I have just gone online and set up a small monthly donation for Cancer Research UK and Alzheimer's Research UK. I have personal experience of both. It took just a few minutes.

Good luck with the "Ride to Conquer Cancer" Shows great commitment. Not sure I could do that distance, maybe over a week. I'm just too lazy and unfit. Let us know how you do.
