Thank You!!!

Well, another JIBE has come and gone. The Suburban is finally re packed and ready for the trip back home.

So very hard to see this event end. Its much more than kiting to me and my family. The reunion of wonderful friends is where its at. Kiting is just a bonus. Was hard saying goodbye this evening. I also miss those that I didn't get a chance to see before they/we left. You are not forgotten!!

Thank you Angus for organizing such a great event!
Thank you Mark and Fiona, Spencer and Ashli, Scott and Devin for being the best neighbors. Already counting down the days till JIBE 2016. :D

Dittos all around Jason, ... to you and Amanda and Mark and Fiona, thanks for letting my big family infringe upon your space, and thanks for all the fun flying. Sorry we didn't get to hang out much, its hard to keep tabs on all these little ladies. I can't wait to see some video footage!!!

Thanks to Angus for another great event.

I had a big 'ole cup of coffee a few hours ago and ought to be asleep now, but hey... I just have to scoot up to Saint Simons tomorrow for another week on the beach

It was another great time riding and sharing with everyone again.

Angus did the usual, a fantastic job pulling it together.

Holly and the Kite Widows rocked, thanks to them that allow us to take flight!

Now then... what are the tides for next week...

We had a blast even though we left Tuesday afternoon. The crazy thing is my 255,000 mile Ford Aerostar ran perfect all the way there and all the way back. But the next morning it blew a head gasket or cracked the block on the way to work. Oh well. Not unexpected but still sucks. Its last trip was awesome and hopefully my new to me 2006 Mitsubishi Outlander will last to 255,000 miles.

Just to further my thanks, this is the first time I've stayed for the whole event with my whole family... Many thanks to you all for being accommodating for all my little ladies... I had less opportunities to hang out and less time to ride, but it was still a great time. I had a great time this year.

Amanda bought a big pack of Kool aid Popsicles for all the girlies back at the cottage, but we never got a chance to enjoy.
Either at the beach, in the buggy, or in the bed. Lol

...and just a huge thanks out to Angus!

Not only did he instruct in the biblical style of patience necessary to untangle a fixed bridle kite, his sense of humor actually made it fun!
