Hey all you Fidder's out there...

I got 4 of these done, and then got stuck on this one...
When I push the line together to bunch it up, it shows what I think are narrow spots that won't expand. Can't get the line to pull any further.

Have any of you had this happen?

I can't get the line to back up now either...

My fingers are getting sore...

Just thought I'd ask if there was a possible fix instead of cutting it off and making a new one...

It happened to me and found out I didn't get the fit in the center of the line. It caught the sleeve on the way through

Good thing someone knew the answer. I was going to suggest swearing at it.

Yup, caught the outside of the line.
Sometimes you can get it back out but if it has destroyed the weave you will need to replace it.

@bigkid - That does make sense...I will pay more attention when threading the next 44 !!

@Randy - I did that several times, and tried changing volume and pitch...later as a last resort I even tried some cuss words I learned while fixing plumbing repairs...all to no avail !

@Kent - I was wondering if I picked at the narrow places to attempt to enlarge them that it might work, and I'm certain it would damage the integrity of the braid...

So I think the best choice will be cut it off and start a new one.

Thanks guys!
