Angry Bird vs Kiter
Yesterday while I was in the dunes flying my revolutions a "least tern" would not leave me alone! I was on bare sand and could not find any sign of a
nest but the momma bird kept dive bombing me. She would at high speed come within 2 feet with her feet extended and beak open. Hard to concentrate
when you are under attack. They do nest on beaches and sandbars but this sand was so hot it would burn my feet. That little bird sure had my
attention!

I've been dive bombed by Little Terns, it's great fun.
But they're quite rare in these parts and their nesting grounds get fenced off now. I stay well away from them these days as I don't to spook them,
nor end up getting a kite ban imposed.

We have miles of sand beach and dunes so it is easy to go to a different location. We do have turtle nesting sites that get fenced off and need to be
watched for. Plenty of room here for animals and kites.
