Got first down winder with a good nose dive!
I got my first run of any distance the other day in really light wind and a power washing at the end from a unexpected gust.

Looks like you are getting it! Was that on your own? Without Mike? The boat looks different. Were you purposely trying a down-winder? It seems
like you have enough windspeed where you could edge harder going left, if that is where you are comfortable, and get a longer ride on plane.
Good camera work by the camer person! Too often it is only of the kiter and then you cannot see what your kite is doing.

I was out in front of my house I did not have time this weekend to make the 325 mile treck down to work with Mike.
My boat operator and camara man was my 65 year old farther, I tried to teach him how to use my Gopro, but he used his low quality antique digital
camara, he did get both me and the kite in the frame.
I was trying anything I could to try to keep from sinking the wind was between 8
and 10 mph. I pointed the board in what ever direction I could to keep going, as soon as I tried to edge up wind I slowed down too much.
I have been out with Mike twice and now by myself once, I am really getting spoiled by going out with mike, I had to rig, inflate and bring my own
kite back up wind. Some day I will be able to make it up wind, the wind forcast for this week doesn't look good.

More wind!! And kite loop that thing to keep it moving and back in the wind window.
Practice looping it while body dragging first and you'll see where the "pull" is..

Rushed home today from work to get out kiting, winds where at 15 mph with gusts to 20 so I rigged my 10m kite I swear to god the second I got that
kite up and me into the water the @&#:') $*@×£ wind quit!
How does it go from can't keep the kite on the ground to rig it, to no wind? Well at least I got to do some kite loops...no video I forgot to put the
sd card back in the Gopro!
