PL Hornet 4.0m RTF -- SOLD --
-- SOLD --
Peter Lynn 2015 Hornet 4.0m RTF for sale. Comes complete with lines, handles, kite killers, kite stake, and the beautiful green Hornet 4.0m backpack.
This kite is in extra-crispy "like-new" condition, having only been flown 2-3 times on grass fields with no crashes. I'm only selling it since I'm
going to an all single-skin quiver and because my bride has dutifully informed me that if I want new kites coming in the front door then old kites
have to go out the back. :saint:
New this kite costs $350.
$225 plus shipping

Note: Image is from internet not actual kite. Actual kite is same color pattern as shown here.

You better believe it! I'm 20+ years into my second and final marriage. If I screw this one up I think I'm just going to have to come to the
conclusion that I'm not very good at it!

smoking deal on that hornet guys. I would buy it if I didn't have any adult responsibilities that are taking precedent at the moment. I have flown
my bosses (which he only flew once and never again) and it is one of the nicest flying well behaved fixed bridles I have flown. I think they really
did a good job on the latest hornet. One of those kites that I would probably like a quiver of if I could.
I would say it's more exciting than a beamer but more stable and forgiving than most of the medium aspect offerings. Kind of an under rated kite in
my opinion

This is a great price. Someone needs to nab it. Summer is the hardest time to move kites other than water kites. I know I'm hiding inside while
the temp hits 104-108 the rest of the week

Thanks Mike! I hope you are having a great summer. I'm a little surprised nobody has grabbed this one, but as you say, the summer is a s-l-o-w time
to move non-water kites. I'm in no particular rush to sell it. It sits all boxed up and ready to go in my garage, patiently waiting for its new
owner to surface and give it the use it deserves. It's a great kite as you know!

I consider a 4 meter the perfect high wind kite for a heavy rider that's inland and rides grass. I think it would cover close to the same range as a
3m on hard packed sand. I almost never have the wind for a 3 meter or less kite (probably 3-4 times a year). Comparatively, I frequently have 15-20
wind in the spring / fall which a 4 meter on grass is perfect for.

Too funny! Bring it on Big Daddy. Yes, very slow selling in the summer. In this particular case I'm in no rush to sell. I'll bump it up from time I
guess. Bikinis sales aids would be awesome. If not, send in the clones!

Still for sale?
Hello,
I have been reading some about Peter Lynn models and their quality. I am looking for a 4 line kite somewhere in the 3m range. I have not flown much
only a symphony 1.8 and I am already hooked, hooked big time! The question I have is will this be too much for a beginner level enthusiast? I don't
plan to use it for buggy or board just some grass field fun.
It is a great price just more than I was planning to spend. If it is a kite I will be able to get use out of then I will have to see if I can scrape
up the needed funds. Just don't want to have something this nice collecting dust.
Thank you for your time

Hi T - yes, still for sale! This is a great kite by a good manufacturer. Practically new. You've asked asked some good questions. To see whether
this is a good kite for you it would be helpful if you let me know where you live. You've mentioned grassy fields so I'm thinking inland. Second,
how much do you weigh? Not trying to get personal, but a 4m (versus 3m) Hornet has more pull and a very light weight person might find this more kite
than they want. If you are average size or larger than that shouldn't be a problem. With the wind up over 10 mph a 4m fixed-bridle kite like a
Hornet will give you a nice work out but not leave you afraid you are going to get hurt. Also, a 4m still turns nicely (compared to larger fixed
bridles), particularly when you learn how to use a touch of brake on the side you want to turn towards.
All in all a great kite at a great price, unless you weigh less than, say, 150 lbs.

Windstruck , thanks for the quick response! I live in Northeast Wisconsin along Lake Michigan so although I have room to fly along the beach, most of
the time I will be inland a few miles. I weigh 200 lbs wish I could say 150
If you were to guess how large of a box will everything fit into? Just trying to estimate shipping cost.
Also what methods of payment are you looking for?
Thanks again for the response
