New (to me) Kite today.

Just got in and done fixing all the bladders on this 20m RRD Type Z. This is the first time I got it aired up since all the valves replaced. I was upset that I sold my 21M Nemesis so I found this one to replace it. LOL!

Wow looks like you can go in some really light wind with that thing! I dont think I've got the guts to attach myself to that big of a kite yet, I'm thinking maybe a 17m.

So many kites so little money! Really I'm Broke!

I typically fly my 16m Waroo or now the 19 PL Venom 2 but sometimes it's fun to scare yourself a bit. LOL! The manual for it says it's wind range is 8 to 16mph which is pretty narrow. It's much lighter than my old 21 Nemi, and if it's anything like the old Nemi it will pull like a runaway freight train. :o I'm interested in trying these "power zips" on the back of it. Supposedly when they are unzipped it reduces the pull and lift of the kite. I have not ever had a kite with a system like this. Looking forward to giving it a try tomorrow afternoon.

Never seen those zips, I'll be curious how it works out. I know I noticed the difference when Ocean Rodeo went to the "vented" design for some of the gusts.
