IMO all blades should be on handless as it give you more control over a kite and blade IV is 4.9m or 6.5.

I agree that handles are the best for control of fixed bridled kites and are better for aggressive kites like the blade.
That being said though, when I'm skiing, if the wind is constant and smooth and I'm just out cruising.... I love my blade on the bar on those types of
days. But if its gusty or needs working... handles all the way.

Agreed w/ B-Roc ..handles..due to the amount of input you can feed the kite and the control they give you and a bar on occassion during those prime,
constant smooth wind days can't hurt.

bar? handles?
This might satrt another thread? iI use handles all the time and have never liked a bar on foils, but in the landboarding vids they do one handed
jumps/tricks with handles how do they do this without the kite diving through the window or just looping into the ground?

If you look closely, on some of those tricks the kiter is using a strop, which holds the kite in place and gives the kiter still a little bit of
control while letting go with one hand. One handed stuff with either handles or a bar is fine, but you're giving up some more control for that brief
moment either way when you do it.

Cheers , i use a strop on my handles but what i dont get , correct me if im being stupid, when i try to use it one handed i can only turn it one way
,pulling the handle, cant push , too much tension/friction, so when they send the kite one way to get air , i imagine whilst they are in they air they
are pulling it the other direction to land it gently but it just looks like they are either holding the handles level, or full turn on one side? is
this whilst they are doing a downloop or something? been land boarding for ages but never understood this which has stopped me from trying any of it,
i hope this post is somewhat coherent ! cheers

Depends what you want to do, if you're going to be in a buggy, handles all the way, if you're wanting to landboard then the bar will free up one hand
as mentioned above. Seems a lot of boarders switch to the bar. I find the position you're in when on a board the bar works well, easy to lean back and
point your body the right way while controlling the kite with one hand. I fly my 9m on a bar and it works great on the board.
