WBB event updates! Please read if you are planning on coming to the event
Ok so most of us know by now a pretty decent sized hurricane is set to hit the East Coast somewhere between VA beach and Boston this weekend. The
likely hood of a direct hit in De or NJ is ever present. I have been in communication with Wildwood and also with Maria all day. Right now nothing has
changed, and as long as no major damage occurs on the beach or the hotel, nothing will change with one exception. There is a car race scheduled near
the convention center on the beach this weekend. They are discussing moving it to next weekend. This doesn't mean we are out, but it does mean we will
likely not be able to use the beach much north of the fishing pier next Saturday. And possibly Sunday. Wildwood Crest from the fishing pier south
would still be ours. I will be updating as information comes in and will have eyes and ears all over wildwood to help keep me informed of the
conditions. Any questions please post them here or on our FB page. Keep your fingers crossed that the beach fairs well and all will be good.

At this point all systems are still a go. Have not heard anything but news getting better. I will be calling Maria again tomorrow and also over the
weekend for more updates on the hotel situation. Really hoping that this thing keeps veering hard right!

Just spoke with Aldo from the Shalimar. All is well and they are awaiting our arrival! I am not sure what the beach looks like where we set up but
I'm sure it will be good to go in a day or so if it isn't already. If anyone from the city calls I will be sure to let everyone know ASAP. Let's get
this party started. One more day till I head out!
