For Sale: Skydog 5.0

Ok time to let this one go. Just don't get out to fly it much anymore. Bought it end of summer 2014 from Big Mikes Kites.

Has been flown about 10 times static either over grass or on the beach. Super clean kite. It flies great I just don't have the time to get out much anymore. Comes with line set, handles, stake, original bag.

I will snap some photos of the actual kite later this afternoon and post them.

Link to kite info from skydog themselves

http://www.skydogkites.com/traction/PowerFoil_5.0.shtml

Asking $225 shipped anywhere in the US.

I have read conflicting reviews of the skydog foils

I have heard they have alot of pull and I have also heard that they are not good for pulling kite buggies.

I would love to hear about your experience with this kite.

I never did any buggy riding with it. No buggy to ride. So can't give you an honest opinion on that part of it. I enjoyed flying it static and scudding all over the field with it. It does pull pretty hard and flies fairly stable. I really like the kite just new little one in the house and it's time to get rid of some toys.

This one is the next gen power foil from Skydog. Big Mike never did a full on buggy review of the power foils. Not that I saw anyway..
I've flown a Skydog SDT 2.5 in a buggy before. Was always impressed at how much power it produced over similar sized foils. It did very well in a buggy for being a lower aspect kite.

Wish I had a few clams to pick this one up..

That is good to hear that they have pulling power. Sounds like a fun kite.

I can understand the little kid around, not as much time for adult play time...

Good looking color and asymmetrical pattern. Bump to the top.

Quick bump for this. Kite flying season is upon us in the northeast. Well maybe it was snowing yesterday. Lol.
