Different kites, places, times, disciplines, and camera angles put together from odds and ends over the few times I got out the last couple months

How clean are the winds in your parking lot? I can never seem to get going inland long enough to enjoy it before the kite collapses.

Define clean? They are clean in the fact I seek out parking lots without upwind obstructions, but they are still gust lull type wind. With short lines, I can't afford to have any substantial upwind obstructions for a good distance. The locations I was at on the video was 4 spots on outskirts of the suburbs that are bordered by large sports fields or farm fields. If you can find similar parking lots bordering sports complexes, than that would be ideal. Are you on foils? I've not tried anything other than nasa or peak on short line so not sure what bearing that might have. Also, stick to moderate to higher wind and small kite. The agility of the kite is important to prevent stalls and quickly place it where it needs to be.

Also, don't rule out long lines. When wind direction is right, I can use a couple spots on long lines which helps. I used the 8.5 blade in a whisper on a long stretch once, but had to keep it high to prevent overfly.

I don't streetkite in anything less than 12ish winds anymore because it's much easier and fun using the smaller kites than larger ones in my opinion. 2.5 and 4 are my go to sizes. Agile and covers roughly 12-20

Maybe its just on my end, but the resolution is the best yet. Even from your original postings through the year, they've never been this sharp! Did you change your upload resolution? Looks good bud. Peak on....

I'm using ion air pro camera first generation. I always have used the highest setting which is 720p and 60 fps so I haven't made any changes. Ive noticed YouTube will default to playing back my videos in lower quality unless I manually change the playback on YouTube to 720. I don't know if YouTube defaults to a lower setting because of my internet speeds or if they just don't like me and default to lower quality on my videos for every computer. Also, I had a rare north wind so my camera was aimed towards the sun in the buggy portion of the video which made for the spectacular first person peak view. It took me awhile to realize what was so different this time but I think it was the north wind that made it unique.

Yes I went again. I can only use it on Sunday and unfortunately this time the wind died on me almost immediately after arriving. It's phenomenal when the wind is good. I've never ridden hardpack beach, but it has to be close to it. Good news is there are crews working hard at various sites around the city smoothing out my next outlaw location. Rain today though so this weekend is out for dirt sites.

Hard pack beach with zero rolling resistance will ruin a man.
