Looking For A Gently Used Snowskate

Would like to give it a try this winter, as I really do not liked being strapped in. New boards are pretty pricey, though. Anyone looking to get rid of one?

You'll pay more for shipping than what it would cost at a yard sale or Craig's list.

Appex buggy, Libre hardcore buggies.
Flexboardz. Blokarts.
PKD Century Soulflys. NPW's. Nasa Stars.
A few other less flown oddballs,
Line sets from 10" to 328" or 2m to 100m.
worlds only AQR that works.
North American distributor for PKD.

good idea, except snowskates are not common in much of the country unfortunately.

I've wanted one of these for a couple years now and might try to pick up a inexpensive well used snow board and cut it in half long ways along with cutting out more at the tale to form the libtech shape. then attach them back together to keep the edge on all sides. Then attach to skateboard or longboard. Probably easier said then done, but it's not worth it in my particular area to spend much on snow gear.

If I don't like my CL one I picked up I'll let you know. I don't mind strapped in, but am wondering if it'll work better to kite with with little to no snow.

hey psychotronic whats the snowkiting scene like out there where u live. Any open arears where people can kite. I'm looking to really do some good snowkiting this year. I hate being strapped in to the snowboard also so I did a mod to my board by taking off one of the 2 sets of straps on the bindings.

There is no scene, it's just me landboarding and now (hopefully) snowkiting. I do have a decent spot for snowkiting that I think Kober has tried as well. I'm also working on getting access to other sites as well as there is some farmland up here, as you'd guess.

So, I'm guessing that you removed the back straps from a snowboard? I thought about getting a beater board and doing that, but wondered if you could hold an edge on that size board with no backs on the bindings.

Agreed, but I've found neither locally.

yea it would be great if we can meet up to kite when the snow conditions are right, I'm not looking for a super big spot and it looks like ure less than 2 hrs drive from the city so tht would be great. yea I took off the back straps. I'm still learning to snowkite but I hated that when I fall I cant stand up and have to either get the kite to pull me up or roll around on the ground to try to turn around. I havnt tried the setup on snow but so far it worked on a preliminary test on sand.
