Maui next week - this should be interesting

So I am taking the wife and kids to a resort in Ka'anapali next week for some R&R...

Just had to check the wind forecast for the few days we will be there:

I have an Ozone Ignition 1.6 incoming... hopefully it won't be too much kite for the conditions :puzzled:

Looks manageable. Definitely looks like you will have opportunities to fly and test the waters in some higher wind. Don't worry about it, you can always let go. that's what the kite killer is for.

Wind varies dramatically on Maui by location especially higher winds in the "saddle" between the mountain ranges as the trade winds experience a venturi effect through there. Typically MUCH less wind over by Ka'anapali - like Ssayre says - looks manageable. Be safe and enjoy!!!
