I am usually in Daytona Beach in late July and Early August. What kites are are you guys using at that time if year? I weigh 230 lbs and am looking for what kite to buy. I will be at the Ponce most of the time.

Those are about the worst months to fly in that location :p

My recommendation is to get a bigger kite than you might think because you will likely be dealing with 10 - 12 mph wind at best on average.

What type of activity?

Mostly on the water. I have been seeing guys out there having a blast. I want to get a head start on the gear.
