Hello Ciema, welcome to rhe forum.
As Coreykite has stated before, due to the sometimes violently gusty conditions and the not so clean winds that can come ripping down through the
Colorado Corridor, there really begiiner spots out at Lake Mead, so no Kitesurfing Shop.
Do you live in Vegas and intend to surf an hour away or vice-versa?
Do you already kite?
There's some people here in the valley who like to kite, maybe you can come hang out, even if it's not Kitesurfing
If you think it\'s hard explaining HOW something works, try explaining WHY it doesn\'t work.

Catherine's Landing at Lake Mojave
Greetings
i stopped by Catherine's landing last October to see if there was a place to kite, and I found a decent spot. Drive all the way back(north) to the end
of the road, and there is a rocky cove area good enough to launch and land from.
I recommend getting your hands on a two meter trainer kite and an instructional dvd, and spend a lot of time learning kite control. Kitesurfari, a
shop in Seal Beach, 562-596-6451, runs groups out there a couple times a year.
My folks live in Fort Mojave and I try to visit once a year, so if I have an opportunity to hook up with you next time I'm there, I'd be willing to
give you some pointers.
