First outing with the Flysurfer Peak 2, 6 meter.
Finally got out with the 6m peak 2. Conditions were great and the kite performed flawlessly. Winds were 10-20 mph. Only gripe I had was the bar
pressure. Arms got a work out after an hour of flying. Ended up using the stopper ball to hold the bar in after the arms got tired. Here's a short
video from that day. Just some straight line stuff:

Feeling the stoke Cheddar! So incredibly happy that it has finally gotten cold enough up your way to enjoy some Hardwater. I know exactly what you
mean about bar pressure on the Peak-2. It had been the only DP set up I had really flown for any length of time so I had no point of reference. Then I
got an Ozone Access and felt the difference.
That huge frozen lake and wind conditions look from the video to be an absolutely ideal spot to engage the little stopper ball. It wasn't until I got
on my skis for some long runs that I realized just how sweet that little guy is.
Nice shot of a crisply executed downturn at the end.
I know it will look different in real life, but that lake looked big enough and lacking of distinctive shoreline features to the point where I wonder
if it is a given that you can easily get back to where you started if you make a run completely across that beast.
Watching that video had me thinking about what a good kite the Peak-2 would be for your application. Lots of pull, tons of DP, light wind when you
need it, and (comparatively) little lift. I'm starting to get into boosting and love it, but man, I'm on deep, soft, low-moisture content Utah pow. I
suspect that getting some vert on Hardwater could absolutely wreck your day if you come down wrong. Even lift without the boost would probably
disengage your edges and sweep you downwind. Try getting back to your car with that going on all the time. :karate:

looked like fun. Too cold to hit the beach here and too warm for ice - worst of both worlds

Great kites those Peaks. Was tempted to take the 6m today but changed my mind at the last minute.
Glad to see how that kite treated ya Cheddar.

Steve - I would love to practice jumping but I'm too chicken on hard ice. It's sorta a catch 22. Learning jumps entails making mistakes, making
mistakes on ice is not good in my book unless your sliding. Perhaps I can practice jumping when I finally learn soft water when it doesn't hurt. Pow
is rare here unless I travel to the north where lake effect snow is abundant.
