Gros Morne (anyone here ever visit)
From what I understand (according to some searching) there's someone who does kite tours on the tablelands there in the winter. Some places in the
national park are off-limits to motorized vehicles, but there's a ton of open space either way.
Apparently due to some fancy-pants geological events a long, long time ago, there are 2000ft high flat-topped mountains made of exposed mantle rock.
Sounds neat. Might give it a look this year.
Just wondering if anyone here has ever looked at that or has maybe even visited. It's not that far away for anyone in the north east - so I'm
assuming there's a small chance.
