First Time On The Snowskate Today

As per the subject line, I just got back from my first time kiting with the snowskate. Wow -- NOT easy. That single tiny edge was a steep learning curve for me. Got nowhere for the first hour, then made some headway and eventually got the hang of it pretty well. Next time will be spent working on getting upwind with it. I can see that it will not be as easy as with my mtn. board, but looking forward to trying!

Mood: Work too much, kite too little. :(

Wow, never even thought about that. The back on the snowboard binding really makes holding a heel edge easy. It sounds like a ton of fun though.
I have noticed that getting the right balance with front and back foot can make a huge difference when it comes to tracking a steady edge and not sliding sideways.

Good luck, and we'd LOVE to see some pics or video.:thumbup:
