JIBE prequel
Finally, an East wind. Long runs at low tide with the new Reactor 6.9 in a 6 kt wind = 18 mph!
And the whole time I was thinking, "In a few months, next island down, I'll have friends with me! And it'll be warm! Today's runs will seem short by
JIBE standards!"
How many days, Angus?
Some men call me.... "Jim."

I am so stoked to get back down to the island. I am trying to talk some local Chicagoans into coming down with me this year. They are big time wind
chasers and like to organize trips to Brasil and stuff though, so they might not have the money or time to fit another kite trip in.

81 days from today, Jim. Leap Year adds an extra day to February. You must have froze your butt off! (Yeah I know, it's not Chicago or Ontario but
we don't have snow suits down here). Anything in the 30's F is cold for us!

ahh not getting my post
Let me try typing it again.
we had a fairly warm spell over the last couple of weeks - even shoveled a light snow wearing a t-shirt, but winter is back with a vengeance the last
couple of days. Saturday's forecast high will be -18 C (right about 0 F) and then there will be wind chill to really push that done. Jekyll is a
distant dream that is getting closer

Who's camping this year? I'm going to come--probably for the longer haul--and would love to have some kiting neighbors.
I miss the JI beach runs. Watching the videos of the runs north runs was painful. I should have been there. :-( I can't believe I missed that. So
maybe we try that again? I'm certainly up for it.

I am always down for a Safari to the North. With a good North wind, we might be able to get all the way to the pier and back around the tip again. So
far each year I come, I get to trek a little farther North. Getting to the Northern tip to see the pier last year was awesome.
