It appears that there is a large calling for shotcars this year. I have put together this Fuel grading system to help you all with selecting the correct fuel for your shotcar. All grades are acceptable usage in shotcars although some may not qualify for racing. See shotcar racing coordinators for details.

Leaded = MD 20/20, Thunderbird, Boones Farm

Unleaded = Milk, juice, Gatorade, Water, Soda

Mid grade = near beer, Ariel wine

Premium = Wine, Brandy, Cognac

Racing Fuel = Distill of your choice, many prefer Scotch, Vodka, Bourbon, Irish Whiskey

2-Stroke = Any mixed #@%$#!tail

Top Fuel = If it has a different color label, it should be Top Fuel. Where does it go on the shelf?

Nitrous "The Squeeze" = Margaritas, Gin and Tonic

Funny Car = Jello Shots

Jet Fuel = Everclear, White Lightning, Grand Pappy's Moonshine

Direct Injection = Champagne, Beer, any addition of club soda

High Octane = 151 Rum, Wild turkey 101

Diesel = Kahlua, Baileys, Godiva and a variety of other licquers

I hope this helps clear up some questions.

Here are some of my musings...

By Fuel:
Top Fuel - Any top-shelf straight liquor.
B-Gas - Beer (or wine?)
Stock Fueler - Any straight liquor
Mix Fueler - Mixed drinks by the shot
SS Gas - Straight Schnapps (Jagermeister, Kahlua, Bailey's, etc)

By Car:
Shot-Car A Class - Any Matchbox or Hot Wheels car w/shot glass (no mods)
Super/Modified - The name says it all.
Super/Duty - Holds more than one shot.
I-BILT - "I Bought It Like This" - Does Super/Modified one better.

Does the phrase "mix & match" come to mind?

I'm planning on sampling random fuels to ensure legality.

Nothing is too much for your safety and happiness.

You just pass it through your fuel system.

Maybe we could have classes determined strictly by fuel.
Whiskey Races.
Tequila Sprints.
Beer Shooters?

Dark vs Light?
Lager vs Ale?

You bring it... You'll get a chance to race it.
We all run what we brung.
