Another ice buggy run on Ghost
Had a great ride again yesterday in 15-25kph winds, 15C temp. A little wet on the ice but no puddles and still 40 cm of good ice. 10m Venom 1 got me
to 37.5 kph

Another early end after 6.6km my front tire went flat. Lucky to be almost back at base. The screws had not penetrated the tire - a tear developed at
the base of the valve stem. I have had the same problem with tube failure on my Coyotes. Am I installing the tube wrong or do the PL plastic rims need
some work where the valve rubs the rim?

I have found if the tire is under inflated the tube will move along with the tire and the valve is the spot that is most prone to damage.

How long, typically is your ice season up there?
Looks like a cool place, and the general vicinity a recreational paradise for many activities.

bigkid: thanks I will check air pressure
skimwashington: Ice season is usually Nov 1 - April 30 or so. Some years it has started mid October , some ended May long weekend. We are fortunate to
have shallow lakes that freeze early and deep Alpine lakes that hold ice until the bears are out of hibernation and looking for a good feed. This year
looks like it could be over mid April. Bears are already out.
