flexifoil sting.... looking for 1st 4 line!!!!!

Hey guys! well its official, Im now addicted haha. I finally took the plunge and bought a flexifoil big buzz and have had a blast with it. luckily for me, the wind lately where i live (not near a beach) has been more brisk than usual and have had a blast fighting it with the big buzz.
I am now looking to step up to a 4 line kite and pretty much have settled on the flexifoil sting. My question for you guys is which size i should get. I am wanting either the 2.4 or 3.3 but don't know which to go with. My winds around me are typically 5-10 mph but not that uncommon to see 15 or 20mph. Im a light weight though and only weigh 120lbs at 30 yrs old lol (i cycle a lot). i really don't see myself getting on a board or buggy anytime soon so take that into account as well. I want a good challenge but at the same time don't want to be constantly fighting tooth and nail to keep from supermanning across the ball field.
I want to pick the one i can use the most. If the wind picks up to much for the sting i still have my big buzz so which should I go with?

Welcome aboard the crazy train. First off,I might be biased in my opinion, but here goes. Dollar for dollar ,you can't beat a PKD buster soulfly 1.5/2.2/3.3/4.4 . I started out with Flexifoils(still have them) then tried PKD. Haven't looked back. LET YOUR SOULFLY!

I own all 3 size Stings and buggy with them. The 2.4 would have to be lit up in 20+mph winds to excel. The 3.3 would work best in the lighter winds you describe. The great thing about the Stings and the 3.3 is it's still a great kite in higher winds(manageable).

The 2.4 isn't really going to give you anything in less than 20 mph wind. Even the 3.3 is really going to need to be in the 15-20 range. It WILL fly in lighter though; just not much pull. Let me know how you get on with it.

I just got a Flexifoil 3.3m kite myself and flew it for the first time yesterday in 10-15mph winds (a Control, not a Sting but I imagine everything is the same besides the line setup). I'm 150lbs and it was pretty easily manageable. I've only flown the one time so far so don't take my advice very highly. If I already had a smaller kite like your 2.4 I would probably wish for something a little bigger than my 3.3 as a second kite. That PKD 4.4 looks pretty cool.

Finally got my flexifoil sting 3.3 in the air today for the first time. wind ranging from 12-18ish mph. With my weight of only 120lbs i found the pull of the kite quite impressive when the gusts would kick up to 20mph. All I can say is this thing (or this hobby in general) is a blast!! I could see how it would be quite terrifying in stronger winds for me with this kite because one gust of wind yanked me right off my feet into the super man position on the ground. I pulled the brake lines and the kite came down. After getting comfortable with the handling i was successfully able to guide the kite through the window based on how much power i wanted. This kite will be a great 4 line starter for me to learn all the ins and outs on!
