Desparation Kiting - Silent Film

Normally I don't post ultra light wind videos but I was able to get out a couple minutes tonight after work and was able to keep rolling by some divine intervention. What struck me when I played it back was the absence of wind noise. All you can hear is the faint sound of my wheels and birds chirping. Looking at the trees, there was almost no movement. Usually even light wind has more noise show up on raw video that makes it sound windy. Go ahead, crank it up so you can hear the birds :D

Thanks guys. I don't know if you noticed but I think that's the first video I made with my short double kick board. Much smaller than the longboards in my other videos. I didn't think I liked to kite with it at first but that's only because I didn't know the limits of the wheels I had on it and it requires a little more skill. I currently have it set up with extremely grippy wheels which allow me to lean hard against the pull without slipping. I'm really looking forward to some decent wind now. The short board is not as easy as a longboard for kiting, but I'm really digging it at the moment.

tideous but satisfying, light wind sessions, by far, are THE most difficult to make flow.

its very much same as foiling feel, ON TOP of the board, very smooth, ALL balance.

knowing AND realizing there is net power available ...and not with a big kite either ....deep yoda level there

indeed great stuff
