just thought i'd post a picture of my progress so far on my wheelies of doom.the mountain board was too big nd awkward to muck around on so thought i'd build a pair of these and give them a go.

had to use 12" spoked bike wheels.couldnt get hold of mags.also just missed the metal fabrication shop by 15 mins so couldnt get steel rails so had to settle for flat iron.hope this works and holds.i also had to machine the holes myself,couldnt get hold of anyone to mill them for me so some of the holes are slightly off by a 1-2 mm but the wheels line up spot on. the bolts i bought were too small to attach my roller blades so have to pop out tommmorrow to get a bundle of them so will see how that goes.

Looks pretty good! If you have trouble with the soft boots, try some stiffer ones with more support around the ankles. Welcome to kiteskating!
