HOT HOT HOT Peppers (off Topic)
This is what I sprinkle on my popcorn.. and Thai Food.. and just about anything else where the flavors fit. It's awesome on Pulled Pork or Smoked Beef
Brisket.. Intense Flavor. Each pepper has a different burn AND flavor profile.. Mixed they are unbelievable..
Anyone else into the extreme peppers??
For the numbers Ghost Pepper powder is around 1 Million Scoville Heat Units SHU. Trinidad Scorpions hit 1.2 Million SHU. Carolina Reaper pegs the scale at up to 2.2 Million SHU..
Together they just about cure the common cold. If you want to try the serious heat --> https://www.sonoranspice.com/
If you just want to try the Popcorn --> Tastebuds Popcorn REAPER
Never use these peppers as a dare. These peppers aren't to be toyed with

Screwyfits on here dabbles in rubs and crushed peppers. He made some Devils dandruff that he wore a respirator and hazmat suit while crushing and
mixing. If you keep sprinkling till you can see it on the food, it's more than you wanted. Not to be feared, but certainly to be respected. It used a
mixture of peppers but ghost peppers are the starring role I think.

good find. I like spicy food and consider myself to have a pretty high tolerance, but a guy I work with grew some ghost peppers last year and brought
one in. I was dared to take a bite. Of course I did it and I thought I was going to die. It was an intense heat I'd never experienced before.
Quite the experience if your daring enough.

I put two Carolina Reapers in the garden. Of course I have absolutely no desire to do anything with them, but had to grow some.

I do a fair bit of pepper consumption. I have eaten ghost peppers. I like some of the sauces and jellies made with it. The pepper on its own has a
charcoal taste to in. My favorites are Habanero. Good heat with great flavor. I have not tried any of the genetically engineered peppers. No real
reason. I just prefer to stick with O'natural. I made some habanero salsa a while back that was pretty good. Also made some ghost chile, Habanero hot
sauce. It was my first attempt at making my own hot sauce. It was a little to vinegary for my liking. Kinda like Tabasco on steroids. But it
definitely brought the heat!

There used to be a guy on here named 'Drewculous'. Search some of his pepper threads. There was a video posted of a guy that ate a whole ghost pepper.
That was some funny stuff... :D

Like a lot of hot peppers, the heat from the ghost pepper was not immediate for me. I would say it took a minute or 2 before it started kicking in.
Then it seems to intensify for a good 10 minutes and takes another 10 minutes before any relief at all. That's a long time in pure agony. It wasn't
just the mouth either. Burning sensation from the belly all the way up. Here is a video I found that brought back some memories. I was like that,
but it also made me cough.

I've dabbled some with Habaneros but never anything beyond that. Are the hotter peppers something you work up to or are you guys simply all crazy? I
couldn't imagine eating a ghost pepper, whoa!

We have a recipe using a Scotch Bonnet Pepper that looks like a Habanero. Poke some knife slits in it and put it in a saucepan with some olive oil.
After it simmering for 15-20 min you dip bread in the oil. All the flavor with just enough of the heat.

Just like Bobby said. I made a pot of chili one time with one ghost pepper in it. I cut slits in it and simmered the chili for a few hours. That sh#*
went right out the back door. Hard to believe one pepper caused that much mouth damage. A lot of the ghost and habanero pepper fad at restaraunts are
way watered down. I just can't grab how anyone eats real diced peppers like this on nachos, etc......

One of my personal favorites is to add dices Habanero to a Denver Omelette. Helps get the fire going in the morning. Haha.

I have no problem with spicy sprinkle flavorings. Straight raw peppers are nuts!
