No, it is not.

And all the better that it isn't. Growing this sport is great for the retailers but awful for individual fliers who already need to compete with anyone who wants to use public fields, land and water ways.

Kiters take up lots of space. New kiters take up even more. Its nice to fly and ride with your buds but a major influx of kiters would surely ruin most outings, IMO.
