MBS Mountain Board Refresh and kite prep for WBB

My old mountain board got a refresh. I removed the old grip tape, sanded off the glue, and sealed the wood. Applied new grip tape and cleaned up some of the rust. It also needed 4 new inner tubes for the tires. Hopefully it will treat me well at WBB this fall.

Hopefully someone will show me how to also fly the PL 16m Venon II and land board at WBB. I patched two small holes and have yet to fly it. It should see some snowkiting action this winter.

This thing looks like an air matress or a bounce house!

Awesome. Another tab guy going. Looks like the MBs Sol 8 that's the only MBs board I've seen with ribbed tires. It's sad that I know that. I can identify almost all of the MBs series. Have you decided what day you are coming

I learned so much in my board at ww. It's a good place to practice slides and just progress

Cool kite. I had the 13m in same colors. It would be nice to have some help flying it but you could attempt flying it static on your own with help here. I'd start in 10ish wind. They get frustrating in very light wind.

I'm probably coming Thursday night after work. Its about a 3 hr drive for me.

Yep I'm still waiting for good wind to fly it. It has even been frustrating with my Apex III 7.5 in light winds. WBB should be an awakening for me.

If Rich cant help you bowtie the kite I certainly can:D- lets hope for some on shore and hardpack- if it works I will give you a couple of pointers if interested- I can at least show you how to fall correctly since I seem to be pretty good at that:D
