good old video

These guys know how to have fun. They don't seem to experience the normal reservations that I have.

I apologize in advance if everyone has already seen this. I hadn't run across it until now.

Even some good backstrap footage in there

So, after careful consideration, and evaluation of the facts presented, I have come to the conclusion that jumping with a fixed bridle kite is safer than buggying. ;-)

Go ahead... tell me to "go fly a kite!" Please!

I had seen this one before, but it is so good it was worth watching again. I personally don't want to review the footage that didn't make the final cut. Pretty cool five-wheel rig BTW.

Sean - is your new Avatar pic perhaps a nod towards the tinfoil-hat reference? :frog:

Seen it several times, reminds me why I shouldn't try to jump dunes. Not to mention all of our dunes are protected and surrounded by snow fencing.

There was a video that Todd made that showed the young lady from FLA using a PL back strap at Jibe while we were there.

The only two thoughts in my head as I watched that were:

-Don't let my wife see that, and

-maybe it's a good thing none of my friends are into kites. I could totally see it turning into a "man, I bet you couldn't jump that" and end looking like that video...

This was a blade classic from back in the day.

Mandibule kites were insanely lifty but their videos don't really stand the test of time.

Classic. They wanted to make another follow up video a few years ago but they sold all their Blades. I offered to lend them my set but not heard back. Perhaps they not so young and reckless anymore.

Sean your Avatar is great, don't change it. Clearly you're going for the Admiral Lord Nelson look.
