Moving to Germany and need advice
So I'm moving to Wolfsburg Germany with my wife. I've grown up on the east coast and always have had access to "clean" wind. I'm bringing all my gear
with me as I will be there for at least two years.
From what I can "Google" I need to get a license to buggy! Has anyone gone through this? While I've had plenty of hours in the seat, my sessions are
sporadic. I always have a slight re-acclimation and then I'm good. Has anyone gone through this test?
Anyone near my new area? Wolfsburg... Anyone?
Thanks in advance!

No experience, but here are the details on the process from the GPA (German Parakart Association) website run through Google Translate:

This is the GPA page listing the kite buggy schools where you can take the test for the license (again run through Google Translate).

St. Peter Ording is the only spot I heard of that requires a bug license. Kite landboarding is illegal at that spot, btw.
If you're going to work for VW, maybe they have got a track that can be poached when the wind is right...

I bet that you just need a license to fly in particular spots, or to participate in sanctioned races and events. That's the way it is here in the UK.
By the way, if you ever come to London be sure and give me a shout. I'll show you some fun places to fly.
