To much pie, now for the home made ice cream. If it wasn't for the pilgrims and Indians it would just be another reason to drink and pig out. Thankful for friends and family, even more thankful I can pick my friends.:D

Happy Thanksgiving. we go to the in laws and they deep fry turkeys and chickens. Great stuff only I never end up with any leftovers. This year I took matters into my own hands and cooked one the only way I knew how. It was a 12 pounder. Bad thing is I cooked it Tuesday night and between my family and friends it was all gone wednesday night so still no leftovers.

The 20lb deep fried turkey was a big hit, again. So much a hit I will be cooking 3 more for family members on Sunday. The only stipulation is I get to nibble a bit after each one is cooked and the price of cooking is a pumpkin pie.

I hope all my family here on PKF had a very thankful and blessed Thanksgiving, I know I did.
Now for some left over turkey wings for lunch, it's the only thing besides the carcass that's left.
