Finally, about a month later than normal, we have fantastic clear ice conditions which can only be expected at the beginning of the season before snows mess things up. Watching this perfect ice and not making use of it makes recovery from my recent hip surgery even more painful. Good to see a few ice sailors enjoying it. Haven't seen any kiters - what a waste of perfect conditions.
