not kite related but very important-fake rice

Hello guys I just wanted to alert people to some really unbelievable and disgusting news. I recently bought some rice at the grocery store and was telling my brother that it had a weird smell after cooking sort of like a slight keroscene or gasoline type smell . It was a very faint but noticeable smell but I never though anything more about it until today when quite by accident I saw a video on facebook about fake rice being made in china and some other countries and sold as real rice. I saw a lot of people saying this was a false story and decided to do some investigating on my own I found a few videos on youtube with undercover video showing this fake rice actually being made using plastic and also some videos saying it was a hoax. So I was a little bit skeptical but then decided to dig deeper and found the smoking gun on Alibaba off course --that great chinese site that we were talking about a few days back . You see in china u can actually buy a machine that makes rice pellets out of what ever ingredients u put in to it and its actually called a artificial rice machine. WOW just WOW . are u kidding me ???? no wonder people are getting sick and dying everyday even after doing everything right unbeliveable. And I'm pretty sure the usa dosent grow any rice its all imported.

Seems a lot of money and effort to go to, to sell rice that's a buck or two a kg...!

There was a story here recently though of a convenience store mixing radioactive rice from #@%$#!ushima area into its brand rice...dunno if it was willingly or not.

But adding #@%$#! to food ingredients isn't a new thing. People are scum.

Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

I would have thought plastic costs more than rice, and would require running through a machine. But I'm not claiming I know anything about that. But then there are some that would rather steal a dime than earn a dollar.

BTW - there is plenty of rice grown in the USA. One of my (pre-retirement) customers has been growing rice in Arkansas for decades. I'm sure its not plastic. They also export rice out of the US.

You would think so but when u dont have a belief in any type of consequence from the universe for any wrong actions thats what happens. A society devoid of morals and values. the law dosent alwys catch up with wrong doing but the universe always does.

There are very simple tests to find out if it has plastic in it. Buy some of the same and test it.

In the interest of not overtaking this post I have a bit more info on food from China.
I had a dog a few years back that got poisoned and died a very violent death. Found out the dog treats I bought at Pet Smart was from China and not for human or animal consumption as was on the back label of the bag.
After some more digging and a lot of phone calls all over the US I got the s#%< rolling about Chinese dog/cat food.
I don't buy anything for Levi from any pet store that's marked "not for human consumption". Might sound strange but it does protect the poor dog that's only desire is to please you with a few licks to the face and a wagging tail.

Does the label of the rice indicate the non food items? I hate China....

At the end of the day were being slowly fed poison by the hands of some big corporations in an effort to save money and increase profits. Alot of things are being imported from China these days and china has zero care for product safety. i rember the stories about the tainted dog food along with the tainted baby milk. and nevermind the tainted fish. fake eggs, fake cabbage , franken meat and now fake rice along with the genetically engineered vegetables. I just dont understand why there is not a bigger push back against this type of thing.

China sets its own rules for such stuff which includes the simple saying "if you don't like it, do it yourself". Doing it ourselves will cost 3 to 19 times the cost to do it at home. Just wait till Trump moves in. we might have to make it ourselves, which might not be a bad thing. Then we can do business with Russia. It might put a bunch of spies out of business, there's and ours.

We seem to have plenty of rice - we are the 3rd leading exporter in the world. (Probably because its not plastic.) In contrast, China is a very small exporter of rice. (Maybe there is a reason for that.) If we can't import it, I think we can just eat the stuff we make here. Check the label on your next package of rice. If it says its a toy - don't eat it:D.

http://www.worldstopexports.com/rice-exports-country/

Below are the 15 countries that exported the highest dollar value worth of rice during 2015:

India: US$6.4 billion (30.1% of total rice exports)
Thailand: $4.5 billion (21.4%)
United States: $2.1 billion (9.7%)
Pakistan: $1.9 billion (9.1%)
Vietnam: $1.6 billion (7.5%)
Italy: $591.8 million (2.8%)
Uruguay: $377.4 million (1.8%)
Brazil: $350.2 million (1.7%)
Cambodia: $335.1 million (1.6%)
Australia: $301.2 million (1.4%)
China: $267.4 million (1.3%)
Belgium: $242.3 million (1.1%)
Guyana: $212.1 million (1%)
Netherlands: $191.3 million (0.9%)
Spain: $168.5 million (0.8%)

Switching gears a little bit... the food and pharmaceutical industry, IMO, are working together to assure that everyone develops diabetes and high cholesterol and then goes on lifelong drug regimes. Sugar is a killer and is unbelievably overused. Sugar substitutes are available but who knows the long term effects of those?

And then there is corn. From the production and forced use of ethanol blends which destroys engines to high fructose corn syrup which destroys your health.

Plastic rice and poisoned pet food is despicable but big pharma and big food are not your friend (US based or not).
