Twister 2. 7.7m

Here is a 7.7m Twister 2 by Peter Lynn in excellent condition with no repairs.
One of the handles has little hernias on the strop loops. I've been told this was common and not a problem. If you prefer I can switch out the handles with a set from another PL with a more air time but no hernia. Best, honest, newbie description I can give. Go ahead and giggle.

Sellers' description. 61 yrs old. 161.5 lbs. Less than one mile on my bug, which I've named Hoveround. I want a novice quiver of NASA stars with depower bar.

Most people seem to know this design/ size, but let me add my voice to the roar. When you pull back on the handles in 10 mph you are consenting to a possible jump or drag. Fly it carefully with much respect and a little fear at first. Be mindful of the brake lines. If you fly it like a two line without brake input it will fly you. If you know how to fly using brakes to steer it turns surprisingly fast for its wingspan.
Peter sells this by asking "are you ready to jump?. I see it more like are you ready to jump right now!
Do not buy it to grow into, go smaller. There. I have been responsible.

I want to realize 300.00 after expenses. I expect shipping to be about 35.00. Maybe a little more. Please tell me a cheap way to ship if you have experience at shipping kites.
Most traders here use friends and family to save the fee of 3.4% approx. Which here would be 15.00 max.
I am a not yet a trusted member of this tribe, but I'm watching the mail for my one feather any week now.
Because of this you may want PayPal protection which works great if needed. I would not be insulted if you want this option, it's your money.

So. About 335.00 shipped lower 48, or 350.00 and I'll send you a PayPal invoice for your protection. Final $ when I get the address.
Or you look up the shipping and advise me. About 7lbs and big as a backpack boxed. Pics show what you'll receive. Naked stake, Pl killers, Pl lines, roomy bag, small bag, kite.

Oh, the kite..... https://youtu.be/x6ebykfamn8 here's your private slide show. The only way I know to present it. If I'm off base in any way the tribe will tell me. Trust the Tribe, believe the Tribe. It might save you a cracked rib.

Well. I'm getting anxious about ordering my new German kites, and I've sold enough stuff for a novice quiver. Thanks for looking guys, I'll send it to eBay.

Ed - for what it's worth I'm still waiting for my feather in the mail too... :)

Tough time to sell kites on the forum it would seem. I have to remind myself that it is January after all so for many it is the off season AND we are but days beyond Christmas so perhaps discretionary funds are just sort of generally depleted out there.

Also for what it's worth, I really appreciated reading your kite description and "trigger warning" if you will. Kites are fickle things as I've come to learn first hand.

While I've bought and sold many pairs of skis on eBay so far I haven't resorted to selling kites there. I've personally been nervous doing so because of the injury risk associated with traction kiting (unfortunately again from personal experience).

Finally, the Flying Nun reference was priceless!:thumbup:
