Cross Kites Sonic
Hi. New to the forum. I'd like to find out what people think of the Cross Kites Sonic.
I fly fixed bridle on handles for fun and exercise. Currently my go to kite is an HQ Toxic 3m. Looking for something with a little more performance.
I'm an inland flyer (Denver). My skill level is probably Advanced at this point.
Seeking advice/opinions? Thanks.

I really like the Sonic, very fast with excellent power. Static flying may be a little harder because the kite really likes to get out on the edge,
great for buggying though.

What he said ^^^^^^^
This kite is sort of designed specifically as a buggy race kite. FAR too temperamental for fun static flying IMHO.

I have the 7m. Love it in the buggy. Lines tight, fabric tight all the time. Just sits there at the edge of the window making upwind power. Loaned it
to Ken 3 at SOBB and didn't think I was going to get it back!

I flew the 7m and the 11m that I tried from Mark last year at JIBE. They are great kites. I wouldn't want to fly them much static, but they do haul
nicely upwind on the buggy.

Thanks to all that offered advice. I ended up ordering a PL Voltage 3m to fly static (even though I was really tempted by the Sonic). We'll see how it
goes.
