I have confirmed that I will indeed have the Roland Edirol to record the proceedings. (audio only)
this is a pocket size studio quality recording device, so it can be made available to review easily as an MP3 file.
I will check in with the NALSA guys on friday and find out what they know then.

I will have a Digital mini Camcorder and Tripod so I can tape it if you need. I can also edit at a later date if we need to be able to post important parts.
Do you think I will last more than one hour? I can always bring more tape.

I won't comment on the date of the meeting, how it came about, or why we have not been officially notified of it.

I'm looking forward to seeing/hearing any recordings or minutes of this meeting, especially if it has to do with access issues, fees, or more hanky-panky with the FLREA (RAT tax).

God, I wish I had picked another time to buy a house, but it's too late to bail on the process right now, have to be here for interviews, paperwork, and closing.

Please, please step carefully through BLM's mine fields, and withhold reponses until the consensus of the group can be obtained, unless they don't give such options.

Oh, hell, my head will just run away with this until I hear "the news".

Have you got the time of the meeting yet? I am planning on being at the Playa on the 31st and would like to attend. Please let us know when you find out.

It is most likely not going to happen now. There will be some boy scouts there cleaning up, but most likely we will have them give us a presentation later in the week.

The meeting has been moved up to friday morning. Yes, this friday morning.

I will try to contact Elaine Downing of the BLM before i leave in the morning(Thurs,29th).

I have the complete presentation and documents on CD.
I met with Elaine today and she gave me the disk right out of her computer.
I will do a group presentation, but need a projector to hook up to my Powerbook, or I can just show it on my 17" laptop. Maybe Rob Vreeland will have a projector?
All of the material presented at the meeting will be available. I can answer many questions, but can not speak for the BLM.
I will cover the meeting as well as some concerns that BLM has about our usage of the Playa.
I guess I can present on Wednesday evening in the tent.
