DP kites

Has anyone heard anything about DP kites, I’ve heard a roumer that they come out the back of the ozone factory. The prices are fantastic I’m thinking of going for one a range can be seen at www.atmospherekites.com

Well I bought one, a five meter speed, first appearances are good, built quality is high, handles good and solid with colour coding and foam padding, should get to fly it on fri and will try my first review

Well here goes, what a kite, this thing rocks, takes quite a bit to get it off the ground (was out in low winds) but once its up its fantastic, had my 2.5 pepper flying at the same time and in comparison it is quick through the air for its size, power is very strong but so smooth I felt like I’d flown it a hundred times before, very responsive on the handles with quick turns and the breaks make it drop like a stone when needed. The combination of speed, power and lift in a kite that is predictable and easy to manage just blew me away. Build quality is amazing when you consider its half the price of similar kites, extra thin bridals, stitched not knotted, and webbing over the leading edge, anyone thinking of moving from a beginner kite to something bigger should look no further, unfortunately the range does not appear to go bigger than 5 meter but for a second kite I don’t think there is better value for money.
