Who finds odd stuff when they go kiting?
The last two times I've been out with the buggy riding around our local soccer field I've stumbled across some finds. I can't say I found anything
strange yet, but I found some nice golf balls the time prior and this last time I stumbled across some loose change. Made me wonder what all of you
guys have stumbled across when visiting your favorite kite spot.

Most of my buggying is along the beaches. Being on the coast of the Southern Ocean in Western Australia, I see lots of different float-some. From
miles of rope, to big plastic fishing tubs and heaps of plastic buoys.
When buggying with a mate in Queensland, I went past a parked 4wheel drive and there were 2 delightful young ladies nude sunbaking beside it. I
startled them and when my mate who was buggying a minute or so behind me came along they were already decked out in their bikinis again. Later when we
watched our GoPro footage back it was very apparent they had dressed quickly, as one had a red top and black bikini bottom on and the other the
opposite way round!!!!:D

No nude sunbathers in my kiting environment. :-(
I've flare guns, stuffed animals, tons of dead deer (or portions of), a beautiful axe, various car and snowmobile parts, dead fish, a sheep's head.

Mountains -- literally -- of baseball balls at the lake, along with assorted dead animals, fish, birds etc., everyone else's sunglasses but the ones
I've lost, a washing machine, chilly bins, a bag with a wig (but no money ) and
even live stag beetles.
And one summer, within a month of each other, I even found a Flashlight and a large rubber dildo :D
Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

In summer it's usually golf balls. Winter it's typically what ever ice fishermen have left on the lake. Dead fish, beer cans, cigarette butts,
minnows, etc. Last year someone found my ice screw and made off with it. That was a little annoying.

Unfortunately I usually lose things. I lost a kite once and worse - a ground pin. I almost lost some weights for holding my kites down, but they
were still where I left them them the next time I came back to the fairgrounds.
