Are you sure? Am 8m century would fill the gap better than a full race kite. Just saying
Appex buggy, Libre hardcore buggies.

A few other less flown oddballs,

I agree with bigkid here. In my experience with race kites (though limited) they pull much harder and have a smaller usable wind range than a non
race. I think if you try to fill the void with a race kite, there will still be a bit of a hole in the quiver. Just my thoughts, and I have been wrong
in the past.

Ok...let me clarify. First off I was not really asking for opinions. I am sorry if that sounds harsh. Maybe I did not word it properly. I love my
Centuries. They are great kites. I fact I do plan on buying an 8.0 and 12.5 to round out my Century quiver. But I have also really been wanting to try
a race kite of some sort. I suppose I could fly one at SOBB but I think I would like to really spend time with one and get to know it and decide if I
want to build a race kite quiver or if I am happy with what I have and I do not think I can do that on a one flight stand. So I am looking to buy one.
Unless someone wants to loan me one. I figured a good place to start would be somewhere in the gap I currently have. I should probably also share that
in my normal wind conditions my 6.0 is a little underpowered but the 10.0 is just a little too much. Although I have had a few runs on the 10.0m when
she was lit up like a jet engine in full afterburn. Haha. So anyway I was thinking a race kite in the 6-10 range might be a good place to start.

I have an 8(.5?)m old Ozone Razor that is sitting in the kite bag.
I believe it is a true oldschool race kite, complete with bowties, overflying the window, and the distinct possibility that your a$$ will be handed to
you.
I have not flown it much. I tried it one afternoon up near Moclips WA, but it was mostly just a static flying session. I got the buggy moving, but
there wasn't enough wind to go more than a couple hundred feet. I was no race kite pilot either, so there was some frustration involved
If you would like, I will post it to you and you can try it out.
I'm not prone to selling kites, but I could be persuaded if you fall in love.
If not, I can pick it up at spring SOBB or whenever.
Before you say yes, I might suggest you google the kite, and make sure you know what you're in for first.:saint: Beyond that it is yours for the
flying. Truth is, it won't be missed here and I'd love to hear that it was the ultimate kite that you've been searching for.
If you don't still have my cell# for a text, then U2U me, or I think my email is somewhere in my profile.

Or perhaps you should take mj up on a vapor II; there is nothing as sweet as new kite smell
