Hi,
I currently have a couple of north kites (7m and 11m rebel and 15m mono) as well as a 3m trainer kite. Just bought a landboard and am looking to expand my practice into winter on-land. Rarely snows where I live (eastern shore of Maryland, right off of Chesapeake Bay). Winds are super variable, but i imagine the 8-15mph range is what i'm looking to be out in, open fields right off the water.

After lots of research I was thinking a closed cell kite might be best for its versatility (wish i'd snapped up that fly surfer speed 10m), but I'm open to suggestions and was hoping someone could help me out with something they want to get rid of. Or even suggestions would be great. Thanks everyone, excited to be part of the community here....

I have a Venom II 13M which isn't seeing any use. Say, $150 plus shipping?

I got a little antsy and bought a 15m Speed 3. What kind of wind range is the Venom 13m comfortable in? At that price, I'd be inclined to go ahead and double up unless you think there's too much overlap. From my initial research it looks like venoms like lots of wind. I assume this is kite only, no bar/lines? Thanks!

No, it's a complete kite, bar and lines. http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/mx5alan/arcs/wind_range.htm estimates a wind range from 10-25mph for landboarding for my weight (185lbs). Others on here could tell you more about its flight characteristics as I've never put it in the air.
