If you plan to race or actually take part in any of the official NABX events then you gotta pay the $50.00 plus late fees (I think it $10.00, Depends
on how good you lie). If you are only going to make use of the playa for personal buggying than it's $25.00 plus late fees (we have already been
through that). The price helps provide the event permit, portable restrooms, central gathering tent, awards, one or two evening meals, maybe a beer,
kite data, and a trip to Hawaii for the admins. I've heard it said that if you are willing to sleep with the Lama, the fees are forgiving. To my
knowledge (it's limited, no one has ever taken the deal with the Lama and I don't think the admins ever had enough left over for the
