These tires may not be exactly "Midis" but I have had great success with these trailer tires. They took a week of hard riding on the sandpaper that is the Ivanpah playa and still look great!

I used Google to find best deal with
shipping. Should be less than $20 shipped.
Search for. tire 16x6.50-8 ribbed

Always on the steep part of the learning curve.

I went to a golf cart place and got 2 Golf cart tires slightly used for free... they are treaded but they are 18x8.5-8 s and I have them on the back... then bought a strait ribbed midi from amazon for maybe $30 something... still using that set up and very happy with it.

I'm going to take a nap now

To put some real world prices on Steve's (Windstruck) post

I just replaced my tires. I recommended the 6-ply that Steve references.

Tires were $18
Stems were $6
Mounting was $16
Disposal was $9
Total was $132

This is my third set. Every time I get a different cost. Weird. Same place. Same tires. But, the price differs by $40

Kinda annoying.

The first time I paid $51 a tire...but mounting was $5 per...so it was $161.

Just like Vegas hotels...a $30 hotels doubles after all the extras are added.

So...assume $120-150 to buy and Mount.

My first set lasted 5 yrs and still going.
Second set lasted 4 yrs and then I wiped them out in the 10 days at IBX (see other posts on sliding mostly sideways for 200 miles)

Overall...awesome tires that are perfect to IBX since it is like a road (hardness) out there.
