yeah goto ocean beach... plenty of space there especially down the south end if i remember correctly...

ocean beach is great, you will almost always see zloty out there on a landboard or a buggy, he is the one in the red with all the pads ( havent seen him for a while but thats how i always recognized him)

they have a webcam as well so you can see current conditions......
just watch out for the people try to stay down on the north end (the end towards lake merced, not the end where the road goes up the hill)
