THIS JUST IN

It appears that kiteboarding will be part of the summer Olympic Games starting in Paris, 2024. I know you're thinking what I'm thinking, that bugging is right around the corner. OK, maybe not right around the corner, but this is a nice puff of wind in our proverbial sails nonetheless. :karate:

I have been waiting for kite surfing to become Olympic for years since they added sailing. I can understand if they don't feel like freestyle, wavestyle, and airstyle are Olympic material, but racing has been a very organized Olympic-ready sport for years now. I am so glad kiting finally gets its foot in the door for this.
