MG EDGE ** Now with photos**
**EDITED for accuracy on wheels**
After much anticipation, it is HERE! I will take photos of it soon but in the meantime, here's a brief review based on first impressions.
Quality: Second to none! To say it was over engineered is an understatement. All of the welds look to be excellent and there is plenty of
reinforcement where needed. It is made of stainless steel and shines up quite nicely! It looks and feels bombproof. Very nicely weighted, but not
overly heavy.
Comfort: The hard plastic seat was something I was a bit concerned about given my back issues but it is actually quite comfortable! It hugs the
contours of my back very nicely and having that much stainless around me is confidence inspiring to say the least. There are several adjustments on
the buggy such as ride height, side bar width, foot peg angle, downtube and front fork placement, did I mention side rail width adjustment??? This is
particularly useful for me as I have found some buggies too wide, others too narrow, and some feel great until I put a harness on. With the adjustment
to the side rail width, I can adjust each side to about an inch and a half on each side making the buggy very versatile to riders of all sizes!
Getting back to side rails for a moment, they are bent in the way that you are able to slide in, and get out of the buggy with ease, but by spreading
your legs just a bit, you lock yourself in to the buggy firmly. This reminds me of the Apexx rails. With buggys past, including the Ivanpah, I was
always mindful of being yanked out of the buggy but with this buggy and these rails I do not see this as being a huge concern for me going forward.
The spacers on the front fork allow for wheel use from barrows to bigfoot and everything in between. The buggy came with smooth bigfoot tires for the
rear on asymmetrical wheels, and a grooved duro on the front on a symmetrical wheel.
I can't wait for a nice wind day here to take it out on her maiden voyage this side of the pond! Most people who know me know I typically fly under
powered but with this buggy, I would feel confident sizing up 2-3 sizes over my usual preference! Now the question becomes, do I have big enough
kites???

Great looking bug! I'll wager that you've already summoned the help of family and friends to push you around in it ? These bugs must be a rare sight
over there. You must be excited to try it for real. If the wind stops blowing then we'll know who to blame.

The thought of being towed behind my truck has crossed my mind more than once!!! The EDGE buggy is indeed a rare sight here as it is the only EDGE in
existence. Maarten made one and that was all. We have perfect wind all week, yet I am unable to get to the beach to ride. Murphy's law at it's finest!
Hopefully next week will bode well for her maiden voyage.

That is a sweet, sweet chariot! The Humber of buggies! Th ridgid seat is a bit off putting, but I'm sure it is purpose build and extremely durable.
Heat issues? What a bug!

I like the rolled tubing feature to adjust height of the rear axle. It looks like it provides a lot of adjustment.
Congratulations.

Sweet!
It was sad that you didn't have it (all) for JIBE, but I'm happy that you're finally flying with it.
You'll have to bring it to WBB in October (8 - 14) to show it off :wee:
Go ahead... tell me to "go fly a kite!" Please!

That is a sweet ride Mougl.
That front tire looks much like a grooved Duro like mine. Beach Racers have a distinct flat profile especially on 8" rims.
We need a pic of you sitting in it!
