Ocean Beach, Ca
Slawek,
How did it go with the BEST gang?
I hung with them up in Bodega on Sat.
Good wind, but the tide sucked, and the sand was too soft...
(as normal for Salmon Creek)
Jim and Alex said that they were going to try and get some more time in at Ocean Beach, for photo ops...I bet it was a good time

Joe....Things are GOOD!
The weather, over the last couple of days, has been a little shifty.
We've had a little rain, but the wind has been good.
I'm just waiting to hear back with my Pre-Emp Phys results, and after that, I've got the slot!
Thanks for asking Joe...you have a U2U.

Ocean Beach was the best yesterday. Light onshore winds almost due west. Big kites, tide low and coming in.
Beat the mayor there, quite a few people showed up as the weather was amazing for Earth Day.
Got to watch out for the plovers, let others know, and keep a heads up.
Slawek came by to let us know we're not to buggy near the birds, so fair warning to all. Hope they get their thing done, sure wouldn't want to
disturb a turtle, bird, or any other poor creature unlucky enough to live in a place where the earth wrecking buggy drivers go!!!!

I had a great time at ocean beach as well, most of the day I flew a 5m riot, what a nice kite for those conditions.
I did see some plovers running in the sand, Ill make sure not to run them over

Sorry I missed you guys... my team decided they wanted to practice before our demo fly down at Morro Bay next weekend. I told them we didn't need to
practice, but they didn't believe me -- unfortunatly, they were right!
The pic's are great. I've never seen the sand on that beach so hard packed before. Wish I had been there instead of at Berkeley practicing (well,
maybe not, team flying is fun too).
I'll have to keep a better eye on the forum's here so I know when/where you guys are.
Rob, glad to hear that the job stuff is going good!
Later,
Darrin
