There is a Full Moon and I have got My Permit for Ivanpah Dry Lake....:singing:

Of course I need to break it in with a little Flare And Style

So calling all that can make the trip.....Already have a few of us going out....But if I have to twist a few arms to get more then so be it....Tee Hee

So heres the plan
Go out on Friday June 29th Buggy all night and sleep all day....Same plan for Sat 30th of June night.....
(of course it all depends on the Wind God)

So theres the plan anyone else want to come and play with me??:singing::singing:

Ya had to say it, I still find myself drifting off and recalling blasting across the playa at midnight. Unfortunately the commute's a bit much for me or I'd be there in a second.

Man, I am gonna miss this!! I gotta move that weekend as my lease is up.... But I will be thinking of you guys out under the moon, burning rubber and whatever else.... <GRIN>

There really is nothing quite like buggying at night with a full moon :moon: and magic wind. Maybe this will be my chance to finally buggy naked.

I am actually going to be in California for the Western States Ultramarathon June 21-26 (crewing, not running) around this time so I will try to see if I can make this work. Dates are on the calendar now so perhaps we will see you there.

Ok, so it's still a vague report being a week away, but one cool thing is that the moon is rising as the sun is setting so we can ride non stop!

Im going to be out there between 5-6 on that friday....have lots to do before getting out there....You know nothing big just moving is all....

But I will be there My Buggy is already screamin at me everytime I walk by....:singing:

Unfortunately I am not going to make it far enough south to join in the buggy festivities. I am in Utah paragliding and do have kites with me but plan to be paragliding this weekend, flying high into the sky where the temp is a bit cooler than on the playa in forecasted 100 + degree temps. Sorry I don't handle the heat well and can't afford the additional fuel expenditure. Enjoy and I will see you at the next buggy opportunity.

Please be careful out there and bring plenty of water. Friday is looking to be the best wind for the weekend.
